Makes one single serving of tea.

Ingredients:

  • 1 chamomile teabag or 1 big teaspoon loose-leaf chamomile tea (you may also try a teaspoon of dried chamomile flowers)
  • 8 oz. hot water (the better the quality of your water, the better your tea will taste)
  • 2-3 fresh mint leaves
  • 1-2 drops of lemongrass essential oil

Steps:

  1. Add your teabag or loose tea (placed in a tea ball/infuser) into your favorite mug
  2. Add your fresh mint leaves to the mug as well
  3. In a separate container, bring your water almost to a boil, but not quite (boiling water has the ability to burn your tea, negatively impacting its flavors and health benefits)
  4. Pour your hot (but not boiling) water into your mug, covering the tea and mint
  5. Allow the tea to steep for 5-10 minutes (the longer the better)
  6. Add lemongrass essential oil and stir until combined
